He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Carroll and Edith Davis Carroll; and his wife Linda Gail Reeves Carroll. He is survived by: his son Shane; his daughter-in-law Amy Carroll of Cleveland; his daughter Nicki; his son-in-law David Haynes of Signal Mountain, TN; his grandchildren, Logan Carroll, Patric Carroll, Max Carroll, Marjorie Demonbren, Dylan McCosh, Mallory and Manning Haynes; his great grandchildren, Harper, Maddox McCosh, Lucy and Kate Carroll; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Katherine Carroll of Englewood.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303). A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery (1045 TN-39, Englewood, TN 37329).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
