She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Grindell and Verdilee Phillips Grindell; her husband Homer A. Freeman; her sons, Robert and Ronnie Freeman; and her stepdaughter Wanda Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Dale A. Hughes of Chattanooga, Four, Jerry Homer (Lisa Freeman), Danny Larry (Jackie Freeman), Steve J. (Regina Freeman) and Tony A. (Wendy Freeman). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, Two sisters.
