She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie B. King and Bessie Opal Sneed King; her husband Fred Henry; and her brothers, Hugh "Vee" King, Johnny Cecil King and Bobby Gene King.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Folsom (Dan) of Hixson, Linda White (Mike) of Etowah, Tim Henry (Mary) of Decatur and Charles Henry (Lori) of Athens; her siblings-in-law, Carol King, Sue Henry and Merle Henry; and her caregiver Opal Bright of Athens. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727-1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
