He is survived by: his children, Kelly Mooney (Robert) and Craig Benton (Janet); his grandchildren, Tara Rhea (Eric), Barry Shaver (Katheryn), Brooklyn Massengill, Zack Benton (Barb), Jake Benton and Emileigh Benton; and his siblings, Catherine Womac and James "Jimmy" Benton (Evelyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
