We announce the death of Linda Smith Allen of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lindsey and Mildred Henry Smiith; her husband Morris Allen (Moose); and her sister Janice Smith Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Elisha (Keith Elliott), Mark (Leah Allen) and Scott Allen of Athens; her siblings, Floried Wade (Gary) of Athens, Henrietta Black of Athens, Beth Bullington (Brian) of Calhoun and Johnny Smith (Mike Smith); and her granddaughters, Katie Elliott and Kalli Elliott Duncan (Nathan).
