We bid farewell to Marianna Speakman of Athens, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 29, 2025 at the age of 86. Marianna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Moody and Bonnie Gadberry; her husband Steve Speakman; and her siblings, Suzie Teehee, Jerry and Nick Moody.
She is survived by: her brothers, John and Bob Moody; her son Chris L. Maynard, MD (Sarah); her grandchildren, Chris B. Maynard (Emily) and Amanda Ellen Maynard; and her great grandchildren, Julian, Ben, Maeva and Jonny.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mars Hill Presbyterian Church (205 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303).
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Mars Hill Presbyterian Church.
