She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Stephens and Hazel Irene Davis Stephens; her children, Tammy Renee Nichols and Douglas Greg Nichols; her brother Jackie Jr. Stephens; and her grandparents, Betty Elizabeth King Davis and Franklin Jack Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Robert Nichols; her grandson Gregory Nichols; her great grandchildren, Jaylin Nichols, Jaycion Nichols and Te'Asya Cozart; her brother Johnny "Danny" Stephens (Glenda); and her cousin Rebecca Jean Gibson.
