He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Wakley Boren. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol Boren (Cunningham); his sons, Brett (Rebecca) of Harvest, AL and Dr. Kyle Boren (Courtney) of Greeneville, TN; and his grandchildren, Barrett, Philippa Ann (Pippa), Wakely and Whitaker.
