He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Jesus "Jessie" Gesolgon. He is survived by: his parents, Elizabeth "Jean" Templeton and Joel Ramirez; his sister Tina Ramirez; his sibling's children, Brant Ramirez (Sasha), Heather Gesolgon and Alyssa Gesolgon; his great-niece Leia Rose Deason; and his aunt Lequita Stansberry (Sam). He is also survived by cousins and wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Hillcrest Church of God worship ministry.
