She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Casteel and Rachel Raper Casteel. She is survived by: her husband Ali Zarnehei of Athens; her son Ryan; her daughter-in-law Brittany Zarnehei of Erwin; her daughters, Amber (Kirt Woodby) and Kyra (Wesley Blaylock); her brother Anthony; her siblings-in-law, Melinda Casteel, Frideh Zarnehei, Mohammed Zarnehei and Amin Zarnehei; and her grandchildren, Ashlyn Zarnehei, Nehemiah Woodby, Lydia Woodby, Crystal Blaylock, Amillo Garcia, Alasia Garcia and Desto Garcia. She is also survived by other extended family and special friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303).
