She was predeceased by: her parents, Travis Williams and Pauline Williams; and her siblings, Sandra Morrison, Paulette Dunbar and Travis Williams, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her daughter April Mechell of Atoka; and her sister Claryce Laurd of Lakeland. She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Macedonia United Methodist Church (11508 Macedonia Rd, Arlington, TN 38002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Union Cp Cemetery (9251 Brunswick Rd, Millington, TN 38053).
