He is survived by: his wife Judy Espey; his children, Robert Brian Espey of Atwood, Tennessee, Sandy Gail Hagey (James W. Jr.) of Nashville and Mary Grace Barrios (Tony) of Atwood, Tennessee; his sister Eleanor Jane Overby of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Conor Espey, David Espey, Savannah Hagey, Molly Hagey, Samuel Hagey, Nate Barrios and Sarah Barrios; and his great grandchild Galilea "Lele" Dean.
