He is survived by: his wife Carey Hoskins of Lakeland, Tennessee; his children, Cody Hoskins (Alexandra) of Millington, Tennessee and Brittany Hoskins of Bartlett, Tennessee; his grandson Everett Hoskins; his parents, Daniel Hoskins and Nellie Hoskins of Yellville, Arkansas; and his parents-in-law, Wayne and Carol Whaley of Southaven, Mississippi. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in his memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
