He was predeceased by : his parents, Humberto Elias Ecos Mendoza and Elda Margarita Florentini of Ecos; and his sister Rosa Maria Ecos Florentini. He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Raye Ecos; his sons, Carlos Humberto Ecos, Jr. (Becky) and Marvin Elias Ecos; his granddaughter Mylah Raye Ecos; and his brothers, Juan Victor Ecos Florentini (Paca Rodriguez) and Victor Manuel Ecos Florentini.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Bartlett Animal Shelter in memory of Carlos.
