It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Walters (Bartlett, Tennessee), born in Como, Mississippi, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Kay Walters; his children, Reita Gale Holloway of Elizabethtown, KY, William "Randy" Walters of Senatobia, MS, Frances "Kathy" Lauing (Lance) of Senatobia, MS and Karyn Allen Kroeze (Johnny) of Mt Juliet, TN.; his grandchildren, Colonel Charlie Holloway (Didi), Major David Holloway, Joshua Overton and Gracie Ruth Allen; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Derek, Dayton, Ashley Holloway, Raven Whitaker (Cam), Sgt Dominic Morales, Brian, Andrew Holloway and Lauren Tate. He was also cherished by the youngest of 9 siblings, he also has many adoring nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bartlett Hill Baptist Church (4641 Ellendale Rd, Bartlett, TN 38135). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
