He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Cook and Dorothy Cook. He is survived by: his wife Edith Cook; his sons, Andy, Curtis and Derry Cook Jr.; his daughters-in-law, Shannon and Laura; his grandchildren, Caroline, Davis, Derry Cook III and Avery; his sister-in-law Bonnie Cook; his nephews, Cannon, Drew Cook and Troy Lucas; and his siblings, Lewis Cook and June Lucas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
