It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Teresa McCarver Fonte of Bartlett, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ballard McCarver and Doris McCarver; and her siblings, Ballard McCarver, Jr., Sharon McCarver, Sr. and Delores McCarver.

She is survived by: her husband Louis Fonte; her children, Gina Fonte Ferrante (Joe) and Chris Fonte (Amy); her grandchildren, Teresa Ferrante Buttross, Joseph Ferrante and Nic Ferrante; and her sister Judy Phillips. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Ann Bartlett Catholic Church and School.
