She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gomes and Rosetta Gomes; and her husband Rufus Alexander Spencer. She is survived by: her daughters, Angela, Eleanor (Glenroy) and Donna; her grandchildren, Leanna, Ayanna, Olivia, Shana, Joshua and Noelle; and her great grandchildren, Saniyah, Kai and Mashour.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bartlett United Methodist Church (5676 Stage Rd, Bartlett, TN 38134). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at the Bartlett Ellendale Cemetery (7044 Memphis Arlington Rd, Memphis, TN 38135).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Alzheimer's & Dementia Day Services of Memphis, which operates Dorothy's Place, where Eileen spent time during the early stages of her journey.
