He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen; his children, Deborah Hays (Kevin) of Round Rock, Donna Whittington of Bartlett, Howard Dale Morton of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. and Gary Morton; his parent Pearl Morton; and his siblings, Boyd Morton and Frances Frazier.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sister Evelyn Weatherly (Jack) of Olive Branch; and his stepdaughter Paige Marcantel (Brian) of Germantown, Tennessee.. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
