She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Sammons of Hickory Withe; and her brothers, Marvin Jackson of St. Louis and Larry Jackson of Doniphan, Missouri.. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Moghbel (Keyhan Moghbel) of Novato, Michael Matthews of DeLand and Laura Leigh Smith (Johnny Smith) of Memphis; her brother Hal Jackson of Poplar Bluff; and her grandchildren, Christopher Moghbel (Mackenzie) of San Francisco and Shelby Lynne Smith Myers (Brody) of Como, Mississippi..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
