She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Peters and Frances Peters; her husband Bobby Gene Shelby; her son Steven Shelby; and her siblings, Charles Peters, Lester "Buddy" Peters and Mary Pannier (Al).

She is survived by : her sons, Wesley Shelby (Esther) of Collierville, TN and David Shelby (Sherri) of Bartlett, TN; her daughter-in-law Vickie Shelby of New Orleans, LA; her grandchildren, Matt Morat (Melissa), Jason Morat, Patrick Shelby (Sarah), Nick Shelby, Brayden Shelby (Ellie), Heather Shelby Choquette (Jacques) and Charli Shelby Gonder (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Madison Morat, Parker Morat, Mackenzy Choquette, Amelia Choquette, Liam Shelby, Anniston Shelby, Maggie Gonder, Watson Gonder, Linden Gonder and Jon David Shelby; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Peters and Johnnie Peters.
