He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Helen; and his siblings, Gene, Eddie, Mike, Melvin Garner and Helen "Pixie" Padawer.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Tatum; and his children, Debbie Boucher (Walter), Cindy Rhinehardt (Donnie), Larry Jr. Tatum (Deanna) and Sonya Jenkins (Jay). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
