He was predeceased by: his grandson Sean; his parents, Lee M. Dixon and Elizabeth Dixon of Southaven, MS; and his siblings, Billy Dixon and Sandra Dixon.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Dixon of Lakeland, TN; his children, Karen White of Savannah, GA, David Dixon of Germantown, TN and Dennis Dixon of Memphis, TN; his brother Gary Dixon of Memphis, TN; and his grandchildren, Shannon, Tristan, Ashley and Madison. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
