She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helena Webb and Jimmy Webb; her son Jonathan Dempsey; her brother Mark; her siblings' child Atticus; her sister Kathy; her husband Dempsey Wayne McCanless; her sisters, Betsy and Lynn; her siblings' children, Steven, Jessie, Shayla, Elora, Hephzibah and Mathew; and her great-nephew Adrian.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
