With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Ray Ballard (Bartlett, Tennessee), born in Dyer, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Deering; his parent Jake Ballard; and his siblings, Fred Ballard, Raymond Ballard, Mary Cloar and Lady Ruth Long.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Ballard (Christine), Julie Brooks (Mike) and Ryan Ballard (Christina); his grandchildren, Doty Pettie (Hunter), Brenna Clark (Josh), Kelsey Brooks, Austin Brooks, Davis Ballard (Mallory), Riker Ballard and Rayna Ballard; and his great grandchildren, Loren Pettie, Clara Pettie and Blake Pettie.
