He is survived by: his children, Melissa Herron Mahler (Kristen) of Lexington, KY, Robert Royce Herron (Hope) of Ooltewah, TN and Curtis Henry Herron (Lyndsay); his siblings, Shirley Maddux (Darryl) of Buffalo Valley, Janice Thomas of Knoxville and Lonnie Herron (Jan) of Gregory, MI; his grandchildren, Landis Mahler, Berkley Mahler, Raegan Herron, Carlisle Mahler, Aberdeen Mahler, Ellis Henry Herron and Emelia Herron; and his brother Ernie Vinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
