He was predeceased by: his parents, Udell Shores and Etmo Dean Maxwell Shores; his wife Lassie Ann Herren Shores; his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Herren, Loyd Shores and Wayne Shores; and his great grandchild Charlie Don Spurr.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Shores (Carol Spurr) and Elizabeth McConnell (Tim) of Silver Point, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Joshua Brown (Becca) of St. Mary's, Georgia, Jeremy Brown (Kristin) of Cookeville, Austin Spurr (Becca) of Silver Point and Cheyenne Borens (Walter) of Dover, Tennessee.; and his great grandchildren, Sterling Spurr, Jonah Brown, Jaxson Brown, Brayden Brown, Peyton Brown, Emery Borens, Ella Borens, Danni Brown, Hope Brown, Vera Borens and Willow Spurr. He is also survived by his family, friends.
