It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Hanus of Baxter, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Willis" West and Lucy Young; her stepfather Paul Clegg; and her brothers, Lester West and Mitchel West.
She is survived by: her children, Ryan Hanus (Alyssa) of Murfreesboro, TN, Brandon Hanus (Kristin Cowan) of Baxter, TN, Bryan Hanus of Seekonk, MA and Breanna Hanus (Austin Thompson) of Old Hickory, TN; her brothers, William West (Beverly) of Cookeville, TN and Danny Jo West of Baxter, TN; and her grandchildren, Ella Hanus, Evangeline Hanus, River Hanus and Allyrae Hanus.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
