He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Franklin Ballard and Ester Fry Ballard; and his siblings, Wayne Ballard, Mildred Tenacha and Pearlie Strange.
He is survived by : his son Donnie Ballard; and his siblings, Charles Ballard and Ruby Fain Ballard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
