With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Peters of Bean Station, Tennessee, born in Iaeger, West Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Isom Kennedy and Nancy Justice Kennedy; her husband Thurman Peters; and her sisters, Maggie Matney and Annie May Matney.

She is survived by : her children, Jenny Dixon of Rutledge, TN and Edward Ratliff of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Annie Nicley of Rutledge, TN, Kolby Dixon of Rutledge, TN, Nathan of North Carolina and Kassandra Ratliff of North Carolina; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Haillie Goins and Carter Ratliff; and her brothers, Luther and Ray Kennedy.
