With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Howerton of Bean Station, Tennessee, born in Pontiac, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Higgins and Gayle Higgins (Junior Ray); her sister-in-law Mary Higgins; and her brother Doug Higgins. She is survived by: her children, Mark A. Howerton, Angie G. Howerton and Tracy L Brock; her son-in-law William Brock; her grandsons, Matthew Kinser, Caden Kinser, Tyler Brock and Alex Brock; her siblings, John Higgins, Tim Higgins (Sandy), Merrie Huston and Dan Higgins (Renee); and her brothers-in-law, Bill Howerton and Bill Dalton. She is also survived by her family, friends.
The family respectfully requests donations in lieu of flowers to assist in coverage of funeral expenses in honor of Margaret's life of compassion and service.
