He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Caroline; his daughters, Andrea Anders (Greg), Rhonda Chalcraft (Jeff), Jennifer Cortese (Mike) and Nicole Varacalli (Joe); his grandchildren, Steven Chalcraft (Sarah), Alec Frankowski (Amanda), Daniel Cortese (Amy), Steven Cortese, Keith Molloy (Rachel), Stacie Howell (Tom), Adam Frankowski, Korrie Molloy (Mike Mocydlarz), Jeff Cortese, Miranda Varacalli and Joey Varacalli, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Autumn, Michael, Sedona, Amelia, Abigail, Eve, Casey, Caleb and Eden; and his siblings, Donald Absher (Linda), Johnny Absher (Elaine), Eddie Absher (Kathy), Joe White (Debbie), Frances McCray (late Bill), Harold Absher and Jim Absher (late Joan). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence at Ascension Alexian Brothers Hospice 2601 Navistar Drive Building 4, Floor 1 Lisle, IL 60532 are appreciated.
