He is survived by: his children, Richard Walker (Tara) of Bean Station and Stephanie McCubbins (Eddie) of Bean Station; his grandchildren, Tyler McCubbins (Kristen), Sydney Carter (Logan) and Joshua Walker; his great grandchild Emmaline Jean Carter; and his siblings, Mildred Hayes, Grover Walker, Zella Woody and Donnie Walker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
