He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Gobelet; his son Adam Gobelet; his parents, Harry Gobelet and Myrtle Jones Gobelet; his siblings, Oneal Gobelet and Vada Smith; and his brother-in-law Chuck Dolejs.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Gobelet, Angela Gobelet, Danny Gobelet (Kathy), Gayle Little (John) and Dewayne Hendrix (Susan); his sister Rosie Hicks; and his sister-in-law Margaret Dolejs. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
