We bid farewell to Richard Wayne Foster of Beech Bluff, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 10, 2025 at the age of 79. Richard Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jamie Foster and Fannie Foster; his wife Kaye Carter; his children, Charity Elizabeth Foster McConnell (Bill) of Brentwood and Richard Ryan Foster (April) of Jackson; and his grandchildren, Foster McConnell, Nolan Foster, Logan Foster and Lila Kate Foster.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (27 E Church St, Lexington, TN 38351).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“I am saddened to learn of Richard's passing. I first met him at 4-H camp at UT Martin then knew him at Trezevant. I considered him to be one of my best friends. Our parents were classmates in high school. Unfortunately, I didn't keep up with him after I graduated and joined the military. My deepest condolences to his family. He was a good guy.”
