She was predeceased by: her father Alvy B. Burruss; her siblings, Hazel Hale and Harold Burruss; and her brother-in-law David Austin. She is survived by: her mother Ruby I. Jones Burruss; her husband Ray; her children, Charles Austin (Linda) and Amanda Jourdan (Jerry); her grandchildren, April Phillips (Brad), Ryan Jourdan (Jennifer), Alaina Schwall (Chris) and Kylie Austin; her great grandchildren, Brinley Phillips, Braylen Phillips, Austin Jourdan and Theo Jourdan; and her siblings-in-law, Vernon Austin (Betty), Bettye Burruss, Linda King (John) and Anita Austin.
