She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos McCormack and Pauline Redmon McCormack. She is survived by: her husband James Robert Forsyth; her children, Jeffery Rogers and Amy Brown; her stepchildren, Teresa Fay Forsyth, James Edward, Jerry Dewayne and Bobby Eugene Forsyth; her siblings, Elaine Jones, Ralph McCormack (Linda) of Bluff Springs, Tennessee, Paul Morris of Bluff Springs, Tennessee and Jerry McCormack of Bluff Springs, Tennessee; her caregiver Peggy Effler; and her niece Paula Williams. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home (182 Fitchtown Rd, Altamont, TN 37301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at the Walker Cemetery.
