He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Smartt and Lorene Woodlee Smartt. He is survived by: his daughter Gina Lynn Smartt; his siblings, Mamie McGee and Greg Smartt; his half-brothers, Marvin and Pascal Lynn; his wife Diane King Smartt; his son Robin Smartt Jr.; his stepchildren, Michael (Ginger), Marty, Darren Forsyth (Monica) and Tennille Beaty (Keith); and his sisters, Pansy Christian (Leon) and Geraldine Killian. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home (182 Fitchtown Rd, Altamont, TN 37301). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at the Altamont Cemetery (225 Northcutts Cv Rd, Altamont, TN 37301).
