He is survived by: his sons, Donny Davis II (Tracy), William Westin Davis and Daniel Eastin Nelson; his grandchildren, Shia Davis, Noah Davis and Kate Davis; his brothers, Colonel Jim E. Davis (Gina), Bobby Davis (Niecy) and Wilton Davis (Kay); and his close friend Kim Davis.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walnut Hill Baptist Church (1225 Walnut Hill Church Rd, Bells, TN 38006). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (1225 Walnut Hill Church Rd, Bells, TN 38006).
