She was predeceased by: her mother Katie Shepard; her husband Clifton Dale Mealer; her children, Randy Mealer and Melissa Ann Sanders; and her siblings, Sammy Jones and Mary Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Jake Mealer of Madison Co, Steven Mealer (Haley Lipford), Clifton Mealer, Jr. (Christy), Laura Angel (Alfredo) and Peggy Lee; her siblings, Richard Shepard, Betty Nichols and Pearl Mosier; and her pet Coco. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
