He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Burton and Florence Kelly Burton; and his brother G. W. Burton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Burton of Belvidere; his daughters, April Ashley (Peanut) of Huntland and Amanda Bradley (Jason) of Belvidere; his grandchildren, Alexandra Bauer (Cole) of Huntland, Jedediah Ashley of Huntland, Katie Patterson (Duncan) of New Market, Ala. and Avery Bradley of Belvidere; and his siblings, Mary Anna Walker of Belvidere, Don Burton of Belvidere and Sylvia Weathersby of Tullahoma.
