He is survived by: his son Richard Dewayne Cothren; his grandchildren, Morgan, Payton and Cody; his siblings, Kathy Sanders (Terry), Pam Hunter (Shorty), Teresa Smith (Teddy) and Richard Cothren (Angela); and his niece Lorin Cothren Decker. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
