He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Pearl Colbert (Branum); his wives, Elinda Rich Colbert and Wilma "Jeanette" Rich Colbert; his son Larry Michael Colbert; and his siblings, Josephine McNeese, Charles "Tot" Colbert, Ruby Watson and Edna Amacher.
He is survived by: his son Richard Colbert (Jamie); his grandchildren, Chas McBee and Richard Chanz Colbert; and his sister Shirley Ann Syler.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
