With sadness, we share the passing of Edith A. Blair of Benton, Tennessee. Edith, born on December 19, 1950, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Bishop John W.; her daughter JoAnna Ruth Blair; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Phillips and Michael Sanders; her mother Lorene McCann; her siblings, Joseph V. McCann, Ressie Deal and Wilma Allen; and her nephews, Nicolas Hembree and Justin Goodman.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Blair; her children, Rebecca Allen Ledford (Terry), Heather Sanders (GW), Willie and Melissa Childers; her grandchildren, Stanley Allen, Jordan Allen (Bailey), Gabriel Sanders and Mikel Sanders; her great grandchildren, Asher and Josiah Allen; and her sisters, Joyce Pack (Gene), Julia Burger (Bobby) and Hazel Hembree (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mercy Tabernacle (443 Clemmer Ferry Rd, Benton, TN 37307). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Benton Memorial Gardens (217 Patty Rd, Benton, TN 37307).
