He was predeceased by: his parents, Olice Stone and Rosene Stone; his sister Barbara Weaver; and his nephew Chris Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Stone; his children, Corey Stone and Marcie Parker (James); his grandchildren, Adalee Stone, Annalee Stone, Amos Stone, Asa Stone and Braxton Parker; his siblings, Olice "Junior" Stone (Cathy) and Donna Ratcliff (Mike); his brother-in-law Marvin Weaver; and his close friend Izzy.
