She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate Lawson Cummings and Ernest L. Cummings; her brother Thomas Lee "Sonny" Cummings; and her son-in-law Carl "Hoss" Maples. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Burchfiel; her children, Dianne McClary (Buddy), Renee Maples and Jeffrey Burchfiel (Gina); her grandchildren, Jacob McClary (Kelley), Dustin McClary (Ashley), Adam Maples, Daniel Maples (Erin), Jim-Bob Maples (Tera), Jacob Hicks (Shyenne) and Brooklyn Brown (Tim); her great grandchildren, Bearrett McClary, Irelynn McClary, Sage-Marie McClary, Destini Polk, Christopher Polk, Makayla Hicks (Evan), Emerson Maples, Carly Maples, Marley Spurling, Asa Spurling, Ivorie Hicks, Mylie Hicks, Finley Hicks and Beau Maverick Brown; her great great grandchild Truett Hicks; her sister-in-law Shelby Presswood; and her close friend Nancy Foote.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Benton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Benton Memorial Gardens (217 Patty Rd, Benton, TN 37307).
