She was predeceased by : her father Tom Lockhart; her husband R. A. Patterson; her sisters, Virginia Smith (Cruiser), Beulah Melton (Paul), Edith Pangle (Robert), Lillian Watson (Buck) and Pauline Casteel (Paul); and her great great grandchild Amelia Jean Killian.

She is survived by : her children, Patsy Peels (Ray), DeWayne Patterson (Kim), Doyle Patterson and Ronnie Patterson (Connie); and her grandchildren, Kecia Killian (Matthew), Scott Moody (Sara MacPherson) and Jamie Moody (Jeri Ann). She is also survived by Several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
