She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Winget and Stella Crabbe Winget; her husband John Avery; her son Johnny Shelton; and her siblings, Oscar Winger, Anna Miller, Susan Winget, Helen King, JoAnn Winget, Donnie Winget, Harry Winget, Larry, Ernie Winget, Janet Winget and Rita Winget.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Shelton (Jeanie), Avery Shelton, Tommy Shelton (Tina) and Zeb Shelton; and her sister Alice Winget. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
