With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal G. Thornton of Benton, Tennessee, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Wilson, Sr. and Allene Wilson Cummings; her brothers, Billy Wilson and David Wilson; and her grandson Kyle Conner.

She is survived by : her husband Arthur Thornton, Jr.; her daughters, Tammy Epperson (Henry) and Lisa Lewis (Bo); her grandchildren, Misti Earwood (Justian Jarrett), Justin Conner (Sarah) and Katey Foster (Serge); her great grandchildren, Raelyn Conner, William Foster and Weslyn Foster; her brother Elmer Wilson, Jr. (Mary); and her close friend Barbara White. She is also survived by Several brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
