She was predeceased by: her parents, David Calvin and Etta Pearl Vest Haskins; her husbands, Bennie Hilliard, Jr. and S. L. McTaggart of Memphis; her son Donnie Ray Hilliard; and her siblings, Robert Haskins, Joe Haskins, Harry Haskins, Rev. J. B. Haskins, Hoyt Haskins, Lucile Merrell, Velma Bates, Ruth Passmore, Kathleen Kincaid, Frances Bates, Helen Haskins and Betty Chancey.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Douglas Hilliard of Montgomery and Carol Ann Hilliard Cederdahl of Knoxville; her daughter-in-law Sherrie McFarlin Hilliard Kersey of Lewisburg; and her siblings-in-law, Woody Hilliard (Peggy) of Crandall and Laura Haskins of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
